5 After 5 Thanksgiving Traditions

5 Thanksgiving Traditions #5after5 #holidays

Welcome back to the 5 after 5! After a long week come and share your list of 5! Each week we will have a new topic for the following Saturday! So think of your great 5 After 5 List and come link up with us! This week is is 5 Thanksgiving Traditions.

I find it hard to believe thanksgiving is this coming week! But I am sooo looking forward to it…especially since it means a little extra time off work and family time! Well lets be honest we keep things pretty low key around here. Nothing fancy really…maybe because my hubby is from England and Thanksgiving is not a holiday there? We do enjoy the time to be thankful for all the Lord has blessed us with and have the traditional meal.

5 Thanksgiving Traditions

Turkey

HA who doesn’t have a turkey for thanksgiving 🙂 |This year though we purchased a turkey from one of the farms at our weekly farmers market 🙂 Looking forward to cooking fresh turkey this year!

Sides

Ok so I missed last weeks thanksgiving sides but we love the stuffing, cranberry sauce, roasted veggies and of course some pie! Here is what we had last year and well it will be the mostly same this year too!

Thanksgiving Crafts

Mmm if your new here and don’t know I run a daycare out of my home so we do lots of crafts and I have a preschooler. We love turkey crafts!

Charlie Brown Thanksgiving

I don’t know if I could call this a tradition but it was this year!

Black Friday Shopping

…don’t hate on me I enjoy doing some shopping but I don’t go out until Friday morning. Even then we do more online now a days… no lines 🙂

The rules are simple: just write your own list following the prompt each week (feel free to interpret it loosely- or in a unique way!), follow each of the three host on the social media channel of your choice. and then get into the spirit of the party by grabbing your favorite beverage or snack and reading the list of other party goers.
