Weight Loss Habit Boot Camp Fitness Journal

Welcome to the second week of Weight Loss Habit Boot Camp.ย  Each week we will be working on a new habit that will help us along in our journey. It is so easy to get into the mind-set that it is all or nothing. While I do think it is important to be working on eating healthy, exercise, good sleep habits and a few more.ย  This is really going to be baby steps each week.

Be mindful of the habit your working on.

If you mess up in other areas don’t give up and throw in the towel.

Find 1-2 ways to keep yourself accountable during this challenge! Find an accountability partner be a friend or hubby or right here! There will be a check in every Saturday evening. I will share how I did and you can leave a comment I would love to connect!ย  Keep a fitness log!

Remember it’s a battle and a hard one! Prepare yourself and Keep going!

It takes 21 days to formย  a new habit. Each week as we add a new one don’t stop working on the previous weeks habit.

Small changes will add up!

Last weeks Challenge was to drink more water! And this weeks challenge is to use a Fitness planner. Keep working on the first challenge and make sure you are getting enough water don’t stop working the habits we started the week before ๐Ÿ™‚

This week get yourself a fitness journal! Or really you can keep it really simple and just on note-book paper. Log everything you eat, drink and keep track on any exercise. Get into the habit of writing it down. Then you will be able to look back over the day and week and see where you struggled and where you did really well. This week we are not necessarily working on changing eating habits but logging what we do. I do encourage you to eat healthy though ๐Ÿ™‚

Remember this is for you! To help you so don’t, not write down if you had some chocolate or…starbucks (that’s my weakness)

Some benefits of keeping a Fitness Journal

Helps with self-control

Gives you reference to review each day/week

Makes you aware of emotions (why are you eating?)

Gives you accountability

Awareness to if you are or are not eating balanced meals

Can make you aware of food intolerance

Helps you keep track of how much you are really eating

Can help you in your journey of weight loss ๐Ÿ˜‰

When keeping a fitness journal write as you go! Don’t try to do it at the end of the day! Keep it with you ๐Ÿ™‚ย  Get one that you love! And use it!

I also really like this one from Erin Condren. I have bought it for a friend and you can fit it in your purse and take in anywhere!

I have also used this one in the past and kept tracked my exercise in the notes section it is free online to print.

  1. Yes! Keeping a fitness/weight loss tracker is the only way I get (and stay) motivated to lose the weight! Now that I am back to getting pretty regular sleep, I’m making fitness a priority again to finally lose these last baby pounds!
