Word of the Year for 2016

Word of the YearDo you have a word of the year? To help you reach your goals, to become a better person, to keep your focus. A word that can be applied to many areas in life? Last year my word was Motivation. Finding and keeping motivation is key to being able to reach our goals, to make changes, and reach our destinations. As I have been discussing my up coming goals, successes and struggles I have been having over the last year with my hubby, we decided what my focus word should be for the new year.
My word of the year for 2016

Persevere

Definition of Persevere
1. to persist in anything undertaken; maintain a purpose in spite of difficulty, obstacles, or discouragement; continue steadfastly.
2. to persist in speech, interrogation, argument, etc.; insist.
3.to bolster, sustain, or uphold
Motivation was a great word for me last year. And over all I believe I have kept up the motivation that I needed. Looking back in the areas that I have struggled in and looking at what my goals are for the new year persevere is the word that fits. That I need to maintain my purpose no matter what comes in life and to continue steadfastly to reach my goals. Many like myself sit down to reevaluate their goals or set new ones as the New Year is about to begin. I want to be intentional in the goals that I have for myself and the ones we have for our family.
My focus this coming year will be to persevere be it little daily goals (which help me reach my big goals!) or be it my yearly goals.
